About Xing Haixin Zhang
I’m an illustrator and concept artist based in Shanghai and New York. As an artist from China, I use contemporary mixed media to explore and reinterpret my country’s rich cultural heritage through an international lens. My work seeks to bridge the gap between traditional Chinese culture and contemporary global audiences, fostering understanding and appreciation across cultures. I am deeply inspired by Chinese mythology, history, and feminism, often focusing on themes of women’s rights and the impact of feminism on women’s lives today.
